Our European adventures are full of awe and wonder. They will leave you talking about the experience for years to come. Norway and Iceland are truly unique countries that have so much still to be discovered.

Iceland is the land of fire and ice with natural springs, thermal pools and gushing geysers, along side ice cold glaciers and rushing waterfalls. Iceland has so much to offer, this country is definitely one to explore.

Being the home to one of the newest landforms in the world makes every expedition different in Iceland. You could walk across the glaciers and see the highlights of the Golden Circle. Or go white water rafting down the Gullfoss River and stop for a picnic as you watch the rainbows shine over the Golden waterfall.

You could complete your D of E expedition trekking through some of the most stunning landscapes in the world. Walking across dramatic black volcanic sands, ice cold glaciers, witnessing natural geysers and heading off into the remote wilderness.

Then after a long day of hiking, why not take a dip in one of the natural hot springs and camp under the midnight sun. Iceland is where your geography lessons are brought to life.

While in Reykjavik take some time to go whale watching. There is nothing quite like the experience of seeing these amazing creatures up close, plus you may have the added bonus of puffins flying over your boat. All in all a truly spectacular experience.

Why not explore the point where the earth is split? The fracture in the earth is the tectonic boundary between North American and Eurasian plates and it is located in the Þingvellir National Park in Iceland. This is a point where the two plates are slowly moving apart and is the only place in the world where you can go diving between two continental plates.

Iceland really is a country not to be missed with unique adventures to be had at every turn. Contact us today to find out more.
